Weekly Report 14
We met with the WUSM podiatrist Dr. Weiss to gain perspective into what a healthy foot looks like with respect to bacteria and fungi as well as to assess product feasibility. He was enthusiastic about the design concept and that it would certainly be of benefit to the diabetic patient population as a preventative measure for ulcer infection. This reaffirmed our belief in the double therapeutic benefit of the design for diabetics in eliminating odorous feet while mitigating infection risk. Further details are available in the meeting notes folder.
We spent the remainder of the week constructing and submitting our Progress report as well as the Progress presentation. After receiving feedback, we will turn our attention to ordering parts and manufacturing logistics during reading week before the break, so that parts are available upon our return.
